Invoice → payment QR

Turn any invoice into a payment QR.

Upload a photo or PDF, check the IBAN and amount, get a GiroCode — save it to your photos and pay from your banking app’s gallery. Or add a payment QR code to an invoice you send yourself.

Two ways, one QR code

Pay an invoice that has no QR code

Upload the photo or PDF of an invoice. GiroSnap reads the beneficiary, IBAN and amount and turns them into a scannable GiroCode. Save it to your photos and pay from your banking app’s gallery — no typing IBANs or amounts.

Add a QR code to your invoice

Send invoices yourself? Add a GiroCode to your PDF invoice so your customers pay with a single scan. No transposed digits, faster payments in.

For businesses

Send invoices with a payment QR

Do you invoice your customers? Stamp a GiroCode straight onto the PDF invoice you send. Your customers then pay with a single scan — no typing IBANs, no transposed digits.

Easier for customers to pay

The QR code is already on the invoice. Your customer opens their banking app, scans and confirms — no copying the IBAN, amount and reference by hand.

Get paid faster

Less friction means faster payments in. A pre-filled payment slip noticeably cuts follow-up questions and mistyped transfers.

Fits the e-invoice shift

Classic PDF or structured e-invoice: the payment QR makes your digital invoice instantly payable — one building block of your invoicing going digital.

Worth knowing: the EU, and countries like Germany and France, are phasing in mandatory structured e-invoicing (e-invoice, ViDA/EN 16931) — Germany has required receiving since 2025 and issuing from 2027/2028, France from 2026/2027. A payment QR itself is not required, but it is the customer-friendly complement that makes your digital invoice payable with one scan.

Paid in three steps

  1. Upload

Snap a photo of the invoice or pick a PDF. Multiple pages are fine.

  2. Check

The payment details are extracted for you. You only confirm the IBAN and amount — shown large and clear.

  3. Pay

The GiroCode lands in your photo album. In your banking app, upload it from the gallery and confirm.

Frequently asked questions

A GiroCode is a QR code following the European Payments Council’s EPC standard (EPC069-12). Banking apps in Germany, Austria and other SEPA countries read the beneficiary, IBAN, amount and reference from it and pre-fill the transfer automatically.

Anywhere in the SEPA euro area whose banking apps read EPC QR codes — including Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Luxembourg and the Baltics. Countries with their own standard (such as the Swiss QR-bill) are not compatible.

Any app that scans GiroCodes directly or accepts an image from your gallery (Revolut, for example) works. The GiroCode is an open standard and not tied to a single bank.

Yes. GiroSnap is deliberately data-minimal: no tracking, passwordless sign-in, and your invoices stay private. Only what’s needed to build the QR code is processed.

No. What is becoming mandatory is the structured electronic invoice (e-invoice per EN 16931, e.g. XRechnung or ZUGFeRD) — Germany has required receiving since 2025 and issuing from 2027/2028, France from 2026/2027, and the EU-wide ViDA rules by 2030. A payment QR (GiroCode) itself is not legally required; it is the optional, customer-friendly complement that makes your digital invoice instantly payable.

A new account comes with 10 free tokens. If you need more, you top up in packages starting at €1 — no subscription, no hidden costs. You only pay when you need more.

One token stands for one processed invoice page: 1 page = 1 token. So your 10 free tokens cover 10 pages before you top up.
